Easter Traditions:
A lovely center piece for the table. Flowers, or bunnys or this year a basket filled with our naturaly colored eggs straight from the coop. We decided to incubate some eggs and hatch our own chicks so we have been letting the eggs sit out.
This inspired our easter basket idea, cute.
Every year I make some kind of easter cake. I was crunched for time this year so instead of a layer cake I decided to honor Janice Merrill's Tradition of the BUNNY CAKE. It is lacking its traditional coconut fur because I was out. So in less than 5 minutes we had this yellow bunny cake finished before Troy walked in the door from work.
Don't look too close....but 5 Minutes is my new record, not bad, I thought.
After our traditional ham dinner we served cake and ate it all!
I'm glad I could contribute to your Easter with the bags for the kids. Someday you can get me back:) We missed having Easter dinner with you guys. We like it when you are here over holidays. We'll do lots of BBQ's and playing this summer.
