Our PRINCESS is 8!

Lacey turned 8 on Monday! We celebrated by planning a special Princess Party for her. Lacey's 8th birthday is extra special because it is the year she gets to be Baptized. She has been preparing for this for a long time and is very excited.
Lacey has been a member of her Grandma Bevells Princess Club for as long as she can remember. Grandma started the club for all her granddaughters to know that they are of royal birth and have special divine roles here on earth. She encourages them to choose the right and to be caring and feminine.
"I am a daughter of Royal birth
my Father is king of heaven and earth.
My spirit was born on the courts on high
 a daughter beloved a princess am I"

Lacey's birthday started out better than she could have guessed. She got to open her first present: a Cake making kit. She was thrilled but it gets better!...Her Dad took her out for a Daddy Daughter Breakfast to Trappers. They were both so giddy about it. I'm not sure who was more excited. I took this picture as they were leaving. Troy said she ordered a pancake the size of her plate and only ate a few bites. Due to the fact that she talked the whole time. Girls will be girls! I sure love these two!
While Lacey was at school I reworked my classroom, ran errands and still managed to throw together a pink Princess Party for her to come home to. A few days before Brenna and Lori came over and helped us make these fun paper flowers. I made the Princess cake.
We had finger sandwiches and scones with sparkly pink punch!

All the Little Princesses!
And of course the Batman and Fire breathing Dragon!

doesn't he look ferocious.
The Girls all made crowns with jewels and sparkly stickers! Lacey and Chelsey helped them.
Lacey was given a real tiara to remind her to always be a true Princess.
Brenna and her friend Stephanie gave the girls princess makeovers!
They Twirled their skirts!
They worked together to embellished their crowns.

Canyon made loud noises to get all of their attention
and Jaxon did tricks for them.

The Girls puckered up and even kissed a frog(prince)!

Braelyn got him right the smoocher!

Princess' gathered for the glass slipper relay, are distracted by Rustin the court Jester! You can see which one of these girls has seen all of his tricks before (not very impressed is she).
While wearing high heels these girls carefully carry the glass slipper to safety!
(on rugged terrain-no sidewalks or pavement here)
A True test of real princess material!
The girls all completed their tasks with success and were proclaimed true princesses.
Being a True Princess Means...
You prepare to make right choices daily.
You treat others with kindness and respect.
You have the power to see goodness in everyone.
You use your manners wherever you go.
You have a special talent to accomplish challenging tasks in the nick of time.
You are always courageous and stay true to your values.
You are beautiful because you act like a
 PRINCESS!
Love this face! A giant lollipop- A dream come true!
