Lacey's 2nd Grade Science Project-Secret Message

All 2nd graders were asked to come up with a science project to present to their class. After some research in our many science books Lacey chose to make invisible ink. She used lemon juice to paint the message and then applied heat to make the words show. We had fun taking pictures of her steps and watching the "magic" happen.

first cut a lemon in half.

next squeeze the juice into a dish

use a paint brush to write a message on white paper

Use an iron to apply heat.

Wala! Your secret message magically appears on the paper.
