On our way home we stopped at the Mesa Verde National Park to see the ruins. We got to hike right down into it. Cliff dwelling, it was amazing to see.

The kids loved the hands on experience and the beauty all around us. It was worth the stop.
Just thinking about then & now, the contrast between their primitive lifestyle and ours is remarkable.
They really created everything for themselves...we just buy ours.
