General Conference weekends...We love them.
Great talks that motivate and fill us with peace.
We fill the love of our Heavenly Father as we hear his messages for us.
The kids look forward to hearing President Monson speak most of all.
I had a friend ask me how do you do conference with kids?..
Every time its a little different but mostly when we sit down the kids are happy to hang around us and work on quiet projects while we all listen together. (After all its not that often that we all get to sit down for hours at a time and just be together) (Its not always quiet but its always memorable and I figure we are blessed for our efforts) We also enjoy talking about what we heard. Sunday Dinner conversations are always the best on Conference Sunday even the little ones can understand and retell the good stories they hear. And I know the holy spirit testifies to us all no matter the age.
With the spirit so strong in our home everyone is happier and kinder.
(If I could just make every day bring the same results)
Today's Activities were modeling clay, Origami, Drawing and Pop it beads.
Lacey was busy for quite a while and then with a huge grin showed us her sculpture of President Monson. Looks just like him with that big smile!
