We started something new last year and this year we did it and we would like to do it again...so we are calling it a TRADITION.
Breakfast at the Parade!
My brother Dallan brings his cook trailer and cooks a full on breakfast for us
Eggs....sausage....pancakes....YUM!
He really has it down to a science and this year we fed about 7 families.
Of course I use the word "we" loosely as I did not do any cooking but I did invite a lot of people and made conversation and helped eat it. You can see why I think this should definitely be a tradition.
Dallan your the BEST!
We missed all of you who were out of town or working this year!
Look for us next year we would love to have you join us.
We enjoyed watching the floats, this year was so well done, lots of great ideas!
I face painted a bunch of kids just for fun and so I didn't get a lot of pictures.
Lacey is at a really fun age. She likes to be involved and noticed lots of details in the parade this year.
Her perspective is refreshing!
Canyon got to stand up and run for candy this year....boy is he excited...if he can just figure out how to get through the wrapper. When it was time to go he was very sticky & goopey...so he either chewed through it or ate it wrapper and all.
If he wasn't my 5th child I might know exactly what happened and I might be bothered by this idea...but ...well....what can I say...little surprises me or gets to me these days. 4 BOYS will do that to anyone.
Kasen is "so big" now he is always trying to figure how he can be a part of everything.
In his mind he is all grown up.
Yes Jaxon has finally learned how to be quick! If you know Jaxon you remember that he was always lagging behind, not any more, he can really put that muscle to work as he races everywhere these days.
He wins for the most candy...does he look pleased or what.
Rustin just Chillin.
Luke & Rustin
