RUSTIN's 1st Backpacking Trip:
The older Rustin gets the busier his life gets. Like all mothers of teenagers I try to keep up.
I try to be flexible and accommodating but its the SURPRISES that throw me...
Rustin forgot to give all the details of his upcoming event.
Not just a camp out but a backpacking trip.
Did I mention that this was a very busy very exhausting week and I was super tired.
Thanks to Uncle Dave who provided us with a backpack, sleeping bag, pad & a mountain house meal....we managed the rest and got it all stuffed and ready to go...phew!
By the time he left both of our attitudes had changed and he set off for the trails as happy as ever.
We managed the impossible once again.
He had a greaaaaaat time and came home with 2 pet Frogs!
