These kids are so adventurous! Rustin decided he wanted to camp outside. He rounded up all his younger cousins and they got their gear out and set up camp.
Look at these kids....they are experienced!
I watched in mild amazement at how independent they all are. Everyone helped and no one needed help from me. Jaxon was the first to try out the boys tent.
The evening was perfect. So nice to be outside!
The girls squished in to make sure they would all fit.
Rustin built a fire and supervised the marshmallow roast!
Then a movie under the stars with a huge bowl of popcorn they popped themselves.
They fell asleep about 9:00 and about 3:00 the boys came in because they were too cold.
The girls were thrilled to realize they out did the boys the next morning when they were the only left in camp.
They all had a ball! We will have to do this more often.
