VALENTINES DAY

Valentine's Day was celebrated throughout the week at our house. We were busy busy making many treats and valentine's for schools, neighbors, family & friends. The children had fun ding dong ditching the neighbors and each other...leaving behind goodies and kind notes. We delivered, mailed, emailed, skyped and called valentine's to all. We had even planned a quick day trip to mesa to surprise our family there with valentines. But we ended up canceling at the last minute. Sorry we couldn't get to all of you. Troy and Kasen went to mesa to pour concrete on Saturday. They came home late Sat. night. We had been so busy all week the real Valentine's Day sorta snuck up on us. But on Saturday night while I was trying to wait up for Troy I managed to pull together some plans to make our Valentines Day special.
On Sunday Morning I surprised the kids with a special valentine breakfast including heart shaped waffles and pink milk!

Yummy!

After Church we made a specail dinner for Troy. (Who missed out on the breakfast because of work.) Porkchops, mashed potatoes, salad, green beans, and cherry cheesecake. It was gooooood! Troy was so helpful and did the dishes afterwards for me.
I thought it was a great valentine's gift.
He also surprised me with a home-made card with hearts he had even cut out himself(a talent I did not know he possessed) it was so sweet. Troy is the best husband and I love him. I have so many people to love and I am so blessed by their love in return.
We received valentine's from our family all over the country. It was so fun to get "real" mail and not just advertisements and bills. Thank you so much! We love you.
Happy Valentine's to all of you!

My VALENTINE!
