BIKE HIKE

Monday night we took a bike ride to Bits and Pizza's from our house. It was so fun Kasen and Rustin both made it to the top of every big hill without stopping. I was so proud of them. Troy met us with Canyon at the pizza place and drove us home after.

First day of SCHOOL!!

Everyone started school and now its just Canyon and I at home in the afternoon. They all had a great first day. Canyon insists on packing a lunch and carrying a backpack too.

24th parade-CCPA float

Lacey & Rustin sang and danced all through the parade they had a great time with Canyon Creek Performing Arts.

Summer Projects-Brings Fun Times

LACEY helped to paint the barn trim. She is a go-getter when it comes to projects. Playing with paint is always a favorite.

We put up the swing set we've had sitting in the yard for 4 years. Troy dug two giant holes and the kids enjoyed playing in them for a week or so til the next phase.

Of course everyone had to try even our Chelsey.

Once the wet was up it was my turn to paint.

Then the playing begins....

And the whining for turns...

Since then every morning swinging is the first thing everyone wants to do. Apparently we needed a 5 swing swing set. It has been a great addition to our yard and provides hours of happy play!

Monday Night Cookout.

We went out for a quick cookout to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. The boys enjoy building the fire most. Lacey enjoyed the marshmallows most and I enjoyed no dishes the most.

it was such a simple outing but everyone expressed how much they enjoyed it and said we should go more often. SO TRUE. I love it when we have spontaneous fun together.

July 7th Another year older and wiser?

I Turned 37 this year. I did feel older and although I remember my parents this age and thought they were very wise I must say I feel like I am still learning and far from wise.

Lacey made me a donut birthday cake!

She makes everyone feel special when it is really counts.

I especially appreciated the one pink candle it was perfect.

Flying June Bugs

Rustin and Kasen found June Bugs in Grandma & Grandpa Merrills yard.
